Zen and the Art of Social Media

My name is Alyssa. I work at a great little company called MyPRGenie, which offers an awesome do-it-yourself PR and social media platform. Sometimes I have thoughts and, due to my line of work, many of them are about social media.

Here are some things you will discover from this blog:

• Pictures of cats are hilarious and are always appropriate to articulate any thought.
• MyPRGenie is awesome, and you should definitely use it to promote your small business. Or your large business. Or your Myspace page. Or whatever you want to drive more traffic to.
• Certain companies are doing it right. I will tell you all about them.
• My favorite sushi place is better than your favorite sushi place.
• PR is important. Very important.
• I’m terrible at updating frequently.
• Grammar is extremely important. That said, I’ll definitely make a lot of grammatical mistakes throughout this blog.
• Words like blogosphere, guru, and twitterverse make me kind of uncomfortable.

I’ll actually produce something legitimate tomorrow, but in the meantime here’s a picture of a baby ocelot.
